Personality: Quiet and shy, Claire is a loner. Though a faithful friend, she has nothing more than acquaintances at ADSGMP - perhaps the students are scared off by her slightly alien aura.
Ability: Healing (Others, Lunar) - The ability to heal others after absorbing moonlight and transmuting it into healing energy, which may be conserved for future healings.
Shapeshifting (Unicorn) - The ability to change one's shape into that of a unicorn.
History: A once-in-a-million-years breed, Claire is half witch, half unicorn. This anomaly occurred when her mother, a unicorn, was transformed into a human by a spell gone awry. She met a wizard, and through a convoluted chain of events they fell in love, and she forgot who - and what - she once was. Claire's mother always retained a sense of not belonging, though, and was always distant with Claire, as though she couldn't quite figure out what the child was. Her father adored and doted on his daughter, incredibly proud of her. However, as an auror for the Ministry, he faced a lot of risks, and one day his luck ran out. Claire was thirteen when he died. Her mother grew agitated after her husband's death, eating little and wandering often, leaving Claire to take care of herself. Finally, one day her mother never came home. It's unknown what happened to her - perhaps she perished, by hunger or suicide, or maybe she returned to the woods that were once her home. Until the age of fourteen Claire attended Beauxbatons, on a scholarship after her father was no longer around to pay her tuition. When her mage abilities were discovered, she was transferred to ADSGMP. The Herbology professor there took a liking to her, and in return for her help in the greenhouses, the professor pays the rent for Claire to have a little, simple apartment in Hogsmeade, and an allowance for food and other necessities. She has been at ADSGMP for two years now.
Other: Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, she has a very definite Australian accent. She bleeds silver. For her unicorn form, pretty much just picture the unicorn from the film The Last Unicorn.
