Personality: Morgana is sometimes quite prideful and arrogant, which can rub people the wrong way. She cares little for pleasing others, and doesn't get along very well with authority figures. She's had more than a few spats with the Head of the Auror Department, and has had to switch partners several times already - her partners kept requesting changes, because she's often of the attitude that she can handle things herself, and others simply get in the way. She really has to respect someone in order to consider them a friend - people she considers inferior she doesn't have the time of day for. Among her selective group of friends, though, she can be very laid-back and has little to no filter between her brain and her mouth. She can be quite quick with innuendos.
Ability: Precognitive Dreams - The ability to see the future, or possible futures, in one's dreams.
Dream-Walking - The ability to move around in and manipulate dreams, both one's own and others'.
History: Morgana's early childhood was an unremarkable one. Raised in a wealthy wizarding family, she wanted for little. When she was eleven, she received an acceptance letter to Hogwarts, where she was sorted into Slytherin, like her parents before her. One night, she woke her entire dormitory screaming that her father was going to be killed. The Head of Slytherin house took her to Floo-call her parents, who assured her they were quite fine, and that she'd just had a bad dream.
A few days later, Morgana was brought to the Headmaster's office to have the news of her father's murder broken to her gently.
It was another entire year, though, before the "coincidences" in Morgana's dreams began happening often enough for the professors to take notice, at which point they advised her widow mother to transfer her to ADSGMP. She did so, and Morgana was sorted into the Air house.
Morgana and her mother had an uneasy sort of relationship. For reasons she could never explain, Morgana always blamed her mother in part for her father's death (which to this day remains unsolved, and was one of the catalysts that prompted Morgana to pursue a career as an Auror). Her mother, additionally, became very withdrawn and stiff after her husband's death. She provided for Morgana, and the two were civil and polite to one another, but never emotionally intimate. Morgana was more than happy to finally move out of their large, too-empty manor when she began Auror training. Even the meager accommodations given to the trainees were preferable to the dead-silent mansion.
Morgana completed her Auror training with top marks, in all categories except for Teamwork. Her precognitive abilities were valued by the Auror Department, and she filed regular reports of what she had dreamed, should it seem even vaguely useful to them. It looked as though Morgana was going to begin a lucrative career - but she couldn't seem to hold down a partner. She was always too short with them, and wouldn't trust them enough to really rely on them. She was always snapping that she could handle things herself, and she didn't see why Aurors were required to have partners. Whenever possible, she would slip off and deal with arrests, stakeouts, and various other missions herself. Partner after partner requested a transfer from her, and the Head of the Aurors Department was at his wits' end with what to do with her, when the Divination professor at Morgana's alma mater, ADSGMP, vanished. Originally, Morgana balked at the idea of going back to the school to teach, because of her intense dislike of children. When the Head of the Aurors threatened to fire her, though, she finally conceded. She would fill the position of Divination professor until a more suitable teacher was found, at which point she would return to the Aurors with a clean slate.
