Personality:
Well Eric is a really nice guy extremely nice for that matter. Things never tend to get to him. That may have been why he was sorted into Hufflepuff. He wasn't the brightest so he won't really work in Ravenclaw and he did not work for a Slytherin he didn't even ever have a hint of anger in him... now sometimes he does... but, thats only when people abuse him and such. Then Gryffindor well, he isn't that adventurous but he is however brave and that would be because of his sexuality. He is not afraid to be open about who he is and that is that he is gay.
He isn't one to really care what people think of him. He is Gay and Proud and the good thing about this is that his parents do not much care about this fact... but, maybe thats because he is raised by two mothers but thats history and I will explain that later. When people pick on him about his sexuality he is one to just be like whatever. He doesn't find it anyone else's concern what people think of him. The only time he has ever honestly used his powers was last year when kids were casting spells at him and such and thats the only time you would ever see Eric get violent when someone is physically abusing him or someone he loves.
His motto would have to be ' I'm a love not a fighter' then he'd have to paused. ' unless ya swing at me' or seeing as he is a wizard ' unless ya cast a spell on me' then maybe he'd break out into sing and dance... ok, he won't really do that. But, he does however love muggle stuff like watching TV, Cooking, Dancing, Singing, and he also loves his wizard stuff like wizard chess and certain classes. He however hates wars, abusive people, using his special powers, pain and death.

He has the ability to make fire appear with his eyes if he concentrates hard enough.
History:
Eric Jonathan James was born to Jeff and Amy Beals they were only sixteen at the time and well, they were to young to have a child. So, they set him off to live with muggles... two mums at that. Which could of course not actually have children so he naturally became there only child. He was a loved child growing up and at the age of eight his mums noticed he was different then all of the other kids they never really found out how until the age of eleven when someone from Hogwarts came to explain why Eric was so different to his parents. You would think that this would scare of his mums but he was fortunate enough that his parents found this amazing and supported him for being a wizard and loved him just the same if he was actually a normal boy.
He had also always been different not only because he was a wizard but, because even at the age of five he found himself crushing on boys not girls. He never really understood why that was till he reached the age of thirteen and by then he was already at Hogwarts and sorted into Hufflepuff... and at only the age of fourteen he had already came out to his mums and Hogwarts his mums were ok with it however kids at Hogwarts dissed him for it. He found himself only left with a few friends. But, he was honestly ok, with that. His house accepted him and that was about it.
Unfortunately, for him in his sixth year is where he learned he wasn't even a normal wizard let along muggle! He could make fire appear with his eyes. When some older Slytherins came and started beating him up and casting spells at him for being gay for some reason he had wished that they would just burn up. He wasn't one to usual think that but they were torturing him and to his surprise it worked he actually caught one on fire and hurt him horribly! They of course told the Headmaster her was different and well Eric was shipped of to here. He was lucky they didn't think he was a trouble maker and sent him off to a jail or something for what he did. The headmaster knew Eric to well and knew he'd never purposely harm someone.
Eric still regrets doing that to the kid but he had bullied him and he hadn't thought he'd actually harm the guy. He didn't know he could do that. Now, he watches himself and tries to control his temper even when someone is abusing him although it hasn't only happened once sense Hogwarts and that was by two muggles.
