The sun shined brightly outside, despite the early morning fog, bright enough to wake a boy in the Air Boy's Dorm. The time? The 4th year picked up the watch on the small drawer beside his bed and strapped it on his wrist. Good, only a little past six. Eric had a bit of time to listen to his music.
What? Can't a guy listen to some music without being bothered? Only in a T-shirt and long, black flannel pants, he quickly and quietly grabbed his CD Player and headed down the staircase and into the quiet corridor. He looked around, a bit suspiciously. It's not like he wasn't allowed to go to the rec room that early. It was just his clothes. It would be somewhat embarrassing if anyone saw him like that, no?
Finally, Eric reached his destination un-interrupted. Pssh, why did it look so messy? It usually had a few out of place things here and there, but, geez, what happened? Books were out of place, chairs and a table was flipped over, and unidentifable objects were littered on the ground. What the heck happened?
Eric took notice of it, but didn't stress over it. It was probably a squabble between some enemies. He merely tip-toed around the objects in his way and plopped down on a large, overly-stuffed couch rather loudly.
Eric sighed loudly and placed the head phones carefully on his head. Classical music instantly hummed into his ears. He rested his head back and closed his eyes. Such a soothing sound...

Kay lay quietly in her bed. It was only a little past six and she didn't have her schedule set to actually wake up until seven or so. She always just kind of naturally woke up around six forty or seven AM to Oretarun on a walk around the grounds. It was good for her to, she liked to be a bit active. Other than the times she was being active on her own terms, she was considered actually quite lazy. However, she was going to wake up ealier than she had planned this morning.
Kay jolted awake. Not from an unpleasant dream or nightmare or from any kind of sound from her dorm. It was because even asleep she felt the warm liquid trickling out of her nose and stainin her pillow case if not also the side of her face. She sat bolt up right, the covers falling off of her upper body as she did so, and quickly brought up a hand to her bleeding nose. She hated when this happened; usually it went on for two or three nights in a row. The worst was when she had to run out of class to fix it and suffer humiliation.
Throwing off her covers she quickly darted to her bathroom and hunched over the toilet like she was vomiting. Oh with her luck she might just start. Kay grabbed up a huge wad of toilet paper and kept putting it over her nose. Standing up she dropped all the bloody tissue into the toilet and stood over the sink. While it was stopped for but a second she might as well wash the blood smear off her cheek. As she rubbed away at the crimson spot she heard a bit of a ruckus and looked out to see Oretarun, her Savanah cat, just pawing his way out of the door.
Kay knew if Oret was anywhere with out her she was going to get in serious trouble, so she gave chase, not even bothering to put on a pair of slippers or anything. One might have found the scene funny; the girl chasing after a cat the size of a seven month of pit bull in her boxers and tank top PJs with a bleeding nose and practically stumbling over herself. But she thought it was pretty damn annoying.
"Oret you stupid feline get back here!" She shouted as she passed the Rec Room. What had gotten into Oretarun anyways? He never did this, well, not to this extent anyways.

Eric was on his favortie song, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, when he was rudely interrupted by a shout, a loud shout. He sighed ouwardly. Why couldn't people just go to sleep and let him be?
He peeked his head out the door of the rec room after discarding the CD Player to the small coffee table. What the...? A girl, was it? Chasing a cat? That wouldn't seem all that weird, but it also looked like she had a nose bleed and didn't look exactly coordinated.
" Uh... Excuse me! " He said, hopefully loud enough for her to hear him. " D'ya need some help? " It was the right thing to do, right?

Kay half dove to the ground in an attempt to catch Oretarun, but he dodged her. You think that after having him for so many years, and the fact he was a very large cat, would have made it somewhat simpler to catch him. But it wasn't. He was, after all, quite a large breed. Kay straightened up, trying to catch her breath, and ran her hand under her nose. She kind of had a bloody mustache/beard thing going on, and now it was staining her arms and shirt. Good thing she wasn't a hemophiliac.
Oret darted past her again and she attempted to grab him but instead of securing the Savanah she heard a shout. "Uh...Excuse me! D'ya need some help?" She looked up to see a boy, proably a year or so younger than her, just poking his head out of the rec room. Oret was heading right for the rec room. Kay quickly threw up her hand and pointed at the large cat. "C-catch my cat!" She shouted quickly, the words almost caught in her throaght from having to register them so quickly.
Just in case he failed she started to jog towards the rec room after Oret.
