A horseless carriage pulled up short at the foot of the stairs outside of the Entrance Hall, and a moment later a young man pushed open the carriage door and stepped out. He waved his wand back inside of the carriage, and a moment later two trunks floated out and began to follow him.
Felix stepped up to the pair of thestrals that stood unseen by most in their harnesses, and gave them each a brief rub on the nose. "Thank you, gentlemen," he said with a good-natured smile, before turning away and heading up the stairs to the double doors. They opened by themselves upon his approach, and closed behind him again once he was inside of the Hall, trunks still floating along in his wake.

Cassandra walked down the stairs and sat down at the bottom of it. She was carrying a big bucket full of deep red roses. She had just grown them for... she didn't quite know but she'd find some place for them. She was quite lonely, she didn't have that many friends. She just had her plant's. She sighed and rested her elbow on her knee and her head in her palm, she just knew she'd never ever get a boyfriend or even a friend for that matter. She picked up a rose and bore it to her nose, it smelled nice... like her roses always did. She was wearing a pair of blue skinny jeans and a blank white tight fitting t-shirt, she was wearing a big black hoodie, but it was tied around her waist. She looked up as the grand entrance door opened. In walked a boy and two trunk's floating behind him. She looked at him surprised "erm hi" she said, she felt a little out of place.

Felix paused just inside of the towering doorway, looking around at the huge space. It was a bit intimidating, the prospect of having to navigate this gigantic mansion. He hoped it didn't have any trick staircases like Hogwarts - it wouldn't make a very good first impression if he had to ask some first-year for help getting out of a trap stair.
During his survey of the room, Felix spotted a pretty girl nearby who looked to be in his year, and strode over to her. "Hello," he said without hesitation. "Would you be able to direct me to the Air dormitories by any chance?"

"sure, I'll walk you there" she said getting up and picking up her basket. "I'm Cassandra... or Cass" she said and smiled a little. She started walking up the stairs. "so you new?" she asked and adjusted the bucket in her embrace. The boy looked like he was her age. He was a bit cute too.
She turned a corner and then there was another flight of stairs. She knew where the air house was, but she didn't know what the password was, she hoped they'd run into some air house student so he didn't have to wait outside for a long time. Maybe he had the password already.. she didn't know. She tried to remember if she had gotten her password with the letter.

"Excellent," Felix said brightly, pleased to have been so fortunate as to find someone who knew the way on his first try. "A pleasure to meet you, Cass. My name is Felix."
At her question he glanced back at the trunks floating behind him and said with a wry smile, "How could you tell? Yes, just arrived. I transferred from Hogwarts - I was a Slytherin, of course. Am a Slytherin, rather. Once one, always one. How long have you been at this school?"

"likewise" she said and smiled, the smile reaching her violet eyes. Finally someone that isn't hostile, well except for Elena of course. She looked around and turned a corner.
"ah" she said and smiled as she looked down at her flowers. "I've been here for 3 years, I transferred from Bauxbatton's" she said and smiled as she thought about france, she missed her homeland. Up ahead she saw a decorative bush that was dying she frowned and reached for her wand to levitate her bucket. She couldn't reach it. She stopper by the bush and turned to Felix. "can you hold this for a sec?" she asked and passed him the massive but light bucket. She turned around and held her hand up to heal the plant and smiled as the bush healed. She turned back and held her hand out for the bucket from him so they could get moving again.

Felix paused in his tracks and waited while she healed the bush, holding the bucket easily. He raised an eyebrow as the plant healed, and said as he handed the pot of roses back to her, "So, I'm guessing that's your mage. And that's what's with the roses, then?"

Sebastian was starving so he went to the dining room to grab a sandwich. He didn't really felt the need to stay and ate his sandwhich there cause the whole room was almost empty. So he took one and headed out of the dining room again, walking up the stairs.
He frowned when he came across a girl and a boy. He hadn't seen the guy before but he did knew the girl from somewhere. He probably had seen her in one of the classes. He shrugs. The guy looked pretty funny with all the roses in his hands, he though, while he took a bite of his sandwich.

Cassandra looked at him as she nodded half smiling. "erm.." she didn't know what she was going to use them for, what was she to say. "I dunno yet". She looked at the hallway and realized that they were on the wrong floor. She stopped for a second looking to see if they had passed a staircase. They hadn't. She continued walking until they came to a staircase and turned up it. "so what's your mage?" she asked and looked at him as she walked up the stairs, which turned out to be not such a good idea as she tripped at the top of the stairs, thinking there were more steps to come. She fell down but stopped before she got the bottom of the staircase.
She attempted to stand up but her left foot failed her and she fell down the rest of the stairs. She looked up at as she felt a searing pain in her left foot. She sat up and looked around her, there were roses all around her and her bucket lay across the hallway. She then looked at her left foot, it looked okay, but it didn't feel okay. She touched it and immediately winced. She was sure it was broken.

Felix reflexively reached out to try and catch Cassandra as she tripped past him, but she just slipped past his fingers. "Shit," he swore. "You alright?" he asked, going back down the stairs to where she had landed.
Glancing up, Felix saw another young man standing nearby. Well, at least he'd perhaps have help with dealing with getting the girl to the hospital wing if need be.
[Short and sucky - sorry. Couldn't think of anything else. ]

Adrian strolled through the halls watching for any mischievous. Unfortunately, that was an all too common behaviour and something he quite dispised. "When inside this building, you are to learn and not to play," was a common phrase of his to unruly students, go outside if you can't handle that."
He looked down and pulled a ledger from underneath his traditional wizard's cloak, it kept track of his daily schedule and without it he would be an almost nervous wreck. Son of a famous author, Tri-wizard cup champion, famed duelist, and a feared auror, but none of that compared to the challenge of teaching immature runts how to defend themselves. Most of these students wouldn't last more than a minute against even the weakest Death Eater, he thought to himself as he strolled along.
Truthfully however, death eaters were almost a thing of the past. Indeed, there were plenty of the fiends around the world, but they were in hiding for the most part. During his time as an auror most of his time was spent tracking them down. He was rarely on the defense. Nevertheless, he taught his student's as if there was an imminent threat against them that they had to prepare for. He didn't care if the students liked him or not, he was going to do his job as the school's Defense against the Dark Arts professor.
Adrian stopped as he heard a commotion of some sort one floor below him. He looked down one of the staircases and saw a girl lying flat on the ground with roses all around her. What the.. he thought to himself looking down at her. She looked to be in quite a bit of pain as she tried to touch her foot. "What happened?" he called down to her and a young man standing next to her, as he quickly walked down the stairs.

Cassandra fought back her tears. She hated looking vulnerable. "ohh" she winced as she tried to push herself of the ground. No such luck. She looked around there was Felix standing in front of her and another guy she felt she knew but not quite and then there was professor Adrian down the hall. She looked up at Felix "can you help me up" she said and raised her hand for him. She didn't want to embarrass herself any more.

"She tripped down the stairs, what does it look like?" Felix said a bit shortly, then looked up and noticed that the person he'd mistaken for an older student was, in fact, wearing the robes of a professor. "Sir," he added belatedly.
At Cassandra's request, Felix hesitated only a moment - it felt a bit weird to behave so familiarly with a girl he'd just met - then bent over and scooped her up, slipping one arm under the bend of her knees and the other behind her back. "I suppose you'll be needing to go to the Hospital Wing, then," he said, wondering where the hell in all of the twists and turns of this mansion's halls that might be. Glancing over his shoulder, he arched an eyebrow slightly at the other student - he was quite sure the blue-eyed one with the sandwich was a student - and said, though it came out sounding rather more like a slightly arrogant command than a request, "You want to give a hand with those roses?" He nodded at the flowers scattered over the floor.

Adrian raised an eyebrow as the young man replied. He must be fairly new to not realize all the possible things that could happen in this place, he thought to himself as he came to the bottom of the stairs.
He looked over to see a student peering at them as the young man with the girl now in his arms asked him to pick of the flowers. The student was just standing there peering at them with a bite of the sandwich he was holding stuffed in his mouth. "Hold still a second," he said to the young man as he pulled out his black laurel wand.
He focused on the girl's foot and noticed that it was already becoming puffed and swollen. "Looks like you broke it," he said to young DeNoir. "This might hurt for a second," he said as he held his wand close to her foot, "ped emendo," he said making sure to pronunciate the words clearly as he focused the wand on her foot. Within moments the swelling had disappeared. "It may still be a little sore for a bit, but it'll go away soon," he said with a smile out them both.
