Jessie was nervous, neigh he was afraid of the place he was headed. His arms were wrapped around his messenger bag, his supplies and books inside, as well as one book in particular that he would like to keep hidden.
Although he didn't know it his gifts would most likely be accepted at his new school, but for now all he thought of it was that it was some backwater boarding school for the kids who had been kicked out of the respectable places.
Slowly his car pulled up and he stepped out, his parents giving him a wave before driving off. He swallowed hard and started his way up the steps slowly. He reached out and knocked gently on the door as he reached the top, wondering how he was going to be greeted.

Aldrich opened the door, he had unfortunately been walking past it in the same second he door had been knocked on, and it could be none other than the new student. Aldrich hated new students, since they was so easily turned against the teachers. "Yes?" He said, really sounding like the grumpy old man he was. "Come in, you must be the new student we have been expecting." He then said as he pulled the guy in, though gently enough to not hurt him.
Today he was wearing a pair of suit like pants and a suit like blue jacket; it was open, so you could see the light blue shirt, and on the upper part of it, two or three buttons was open, so you could see the dark blue T-shirt he was wearing. Actually even though this clothes didn´t look formal or like anything a teacher or professor would look, the strange aura of pure evilness and intelligence surrounding Aldrich made it look quite like something only very, very rich people would use as everyday clothes.
"So, do you know why your here?" Aldrich asked, most did, actually most already knew how to use magic, or at least they knew they could use it, it made it so much easier, but for some reason he had the feeling, that this kid was going to be trouble, A thing Aldrich hated.

Jessie slightly jumped when the door opened, sure it was expected as he had knocked. But he figured it would take someone a little while to get there, after all the place looked quite large. When the tall man stood on the other side addressing him he tried to mumble out a word, but it only became a stutter as he was brought inside.
He slowly flicked one of his hairs out of his face and sighed, noticing that the man was most likely someone of importance, such as a teacher or some other kind of authority. When he was asked about why he was here he shrugged, not sure really. He had just gotten a invitation to the school.
"N...No." He bit his lip, looking around slowly. He reached back slowly, moveing his messenger bag behind him. Although the man wouldn't know why, Jessie just hoped he would think that it had books in it. Although in actuality it only had a single book in it, one that Jessie would rather keep hidden as long as he could.

"N...No."
Aldrich sighed in irritation, he had been right, this boy was going to be trouble, and trouble was never a good thing, especially not here, were everything were taken to the extreme, he didn´t mind that, since he could punish extremely hard to, a thing he really liked.
"Well I better explain it for you." Aldrich said, obviously irritated a little bit. "You are here because you have been born with the ability to use magic, and before you come with all the statements like "are you crazy... and what have you been eating." instead look." Aldrich said, as he pulled out his wand, and with a quick effortless movement he summoned fire a meter or so away from him, and a meter up in the air.
"You are capable of doing something like that to, with a little training." Aldrich then said as he looked back on the boy, while awaiting his responds, hoping that he would course to much trouble while responding.

Jessie looked at the man patently well he waited to be told what he was here for, although when he got his answer he turned his head to the side. He didn't think that the man was crazy for saying so, he though he was just kidding at first. But then once he saw him light a fire across the room a small red blush came across his face and he bit his lip.
He moved his messenger bag back to his side and slowly slipped his hand inside, making sure the book was safe. "I..I don't think your crazy..."

"I..I don't think your crazy..."
"Well good for you." Aldrich replied well at least the boy seemed to know how to behave towards higher ranking authorities like himself, that was a good thing, maybe this boy could become one of the few that might actually succeed in his classes. "Well, I forgot to introduce myself didn´t I?" Aldrich said, actually it sounded more like it was directed towards himself than the boy. "I am Professor Aldrich Abendroth, but just call me professor Abendroth." He spoke very formally as if he were saying something very important, which he actually were.
"And what do people call you?" He then said as he yet again inspected the boy, his eyes fell down to the bag the kid was holding and having his hand in. "And what is it you have in that bag?" Aldrich then asked, his curiosity had gotten the better of him, and he wanted to know, this would also work as a test, if the boy lied, then Aldrich would know that this guy was only a time ticking bomb of problems, since problems always came from lies.

Jessie gave a soft smile and made sure to pay attention when the man introduced himself, after all he would much rather like to remember his name as not to be rude. Hearing his name he nodded and took his hand out of his bag and held it out to the man. "I am Jessie Douglas."
Although then there was a question that he slightly jumped at, he had hoped that the man wouldn't of asked. Hell he figured he wouldn't hear that question for a long long time, and he would rather of turned around then face the man by now. "I..Its... J..Just books."

Aldrich listened as the boy introduced himself, it was a pretty girly name the boy had, Aldrich could understand how parent´s in their right mind would give their child such a girly name, but there probably were some reason to it.
"I..Its... J..Just books."
The new pupil's excuse was a weak one, just books, Aldrich wasn´t fooled, especially when his MAGE told him that it wasn´t the pure truth. "Are you sure that is the pure truth... you know if you got something Illegal down there, then it is best to tell us it now." Aldrich stared coldly at the boy, as if he tried to read this boys mind, though of course he didn´t how fun would that be? Nah he was going to interrogate the boy instead.

Jessie jumped a little when his bluff was called, although he didn't sound to convincing when he said it either way. He reached down, pulling the bag close to his chest and he clung to it. "Nothing Illegal." He was telling the truth that time, although at a school where people had magic he wasn't to sure himself what Illegal could of been.
Slowly he bit his lip and shook slightly, wondering if the man could be trusted. And then he started to do something he never would hope to do again, he reached into his bag and slowly pulled out the book. The dark surface with a golden trim around the edges sitting in his hand and he held it out to the man. Sure at a glace it looked like a book, but a very odd book with no markings, no title, no writing on it of any kind.

"Nothing Illegal."
Aldrich could feel that the boy was telling the truth, though with slight hints of insecurity of what he was answering on, of course it was understandable, this boy was probably a muggle-born kid, or at least he had lived his life with muggles, so he had probably no experience with the magical world.
Aldrich watched as the boy pulled the book out, it didn´t look special, but something told him that it was nothing near normal, probably a magical or enchanted item, what it could do was still a mystery, but Aldrich would find out sooner or later, nothing could hide from him. Aldrich took the book, since he boy was holding it out to him; he looked over it, both at the cover, both sides, and at the other side of the cover. Aldrich didn´t see anything wrong with it, and he did not want to begin a complicated magical search through the book. "It looks harmless enough." He mumbled as he handed the book over to the boy.
"So, do you know what house your have been selected into?" Aldrich asked, after giving the book to the boy, it would certainly help knowing where to look for him, if anything should happen to that book.

(Sorry gone for the weekend)
Jessie bit his lip watching the man as he took the book, Jessie had never let anyone hold or even see the book before so he had no idea what would happen. He was shaking as the man was looking over the front, the back, but he let out a slight sigh of relief when he didn't look inside. Then again it was probably for the best that he didn't.
When the man said it looked harmless Jessie turned his head to the side, not wanting to say anything about it. Slowly he took it back and put it securely in his bag, and he tucked the satchel behind him. "I..I think Air."

"I..I think Air."
*Oh shit... not another Air freaking boy.* Aldrich thought in his head, there always seemed to be problems with the air students, they were nearly worse than the fire house people, earth he really didn´t mind, they kept quiet and mostly did as he said, and water, they were like his house, or rather most of them believed so, of course they caused problems to, but they seemed to do it more to other professors than to him, they seemed to respect him more, since this was how it was done on Hogwarts, and most of the people in the Water house either had families or ties, or such things to Hogwarts, that was probably just how they were, Aldrich didn´t really care.
Aldrich sighed slightly. "I see... Well, I would be careful, some of them can be a little rough, especially if they are with people from the Fire house, trouble makers the whole bunch of them." Aldrich said, as he starred intensely at Jessie. “Jessie, let me give you a warning, the professors, me included do not look kindly on trouble makers, so you better keep within the rules.” Aldrich stared at Jessie, like a predator readying himself for the killing blow.
"Come I will show you to the Air Tower." Aldrich said, as he turned around, and began to walk away with slow steps so Jessie would be able to follow him, it wouldn´t do any good if he got lost here, then Aldrich would probably have to search for him.
