Personality: Shideh is a very happy person, impossible not to love because if you don't she'll seal the deal and sing. Despite her husband's traumatic death she always has a smile on her face, with the motto that life should never get you down. She hates sadness, hates crying, and she is useless at making people feel better. People often assume that she's sad over her her husband's death, but Shideh isn't one to hide feelings.
To friends and lovers she is a loyal person, though not the most reliable due to common mishaps of her bad memory or occasional illogical thinking, or even her eagerness to be distracted.
Ability: Her ability resembles the creatures of Greek mythology the siren, with her singing she can lure men into doing her bidding.
History: Sophie Carey was best friends with Angela Webster, that was until Sophie realized she was in love with the man Angela was seeing. Sophie was spending a lot of time with him because he was teaching her how to sail, he loved the seas. Angela never suspected anything, she had always assumed Sophie was homosexual because she had never, ever shown interest in anyone. Sophie hated her father the day he banned her from sailing lessons, fearing the dangers of the sea. Angela and Sophie, who had been best friends since middle school, began to grow apart.
Sophie would lie compulsively to cover up her sailing lessons which she had never even attempted to cancel. It was by these lessons that Sophie discovered Angela had broken up with him due to 'rage blackouts', and one day after lesson they sat and talked about the break-up. Turned out Angela had been working as a stripper and that had caused most of their arguments. Things had got so bad that apparently he had tried to commit suicide, and was still suicidal after the break up. Feeling a new rush of sympathy Sophie kissed him. He became her rock, her hero. Her entire life focused on him, not even caring when her family disowned her and she never heard from them again.
She was blinded by love, and unknowingly blinded by drugs. He was too scared to fall in love, so he began to treat her as rotten as possible. A year later she gave birth to Shideh, who grew up hating her mother and ignoring her father. She ran away as a teenager and developed a power that caused Shideh to become convinced she would never make the mistakes her mother did, she had complete control over men with her singing. Shideh has lived happily alone, until she met her husband four years later, who tragically died in a shipwreck when Shideh was only twenty five. Distracted by her melodic song, he wasn't focused on driving his ship to the dock and therefore crashed into it instead. Though Shideh has been on dates, she hasn't had a serious relationship since her husband's death in fifteen years.
