Personality: If one wanted to know Roxanne Locke well, they needed to know a few things about her personality.
One, she was a loyal human being, who took friendships very seriously. Most people are loyal human beings at heart, but Roxie takes loyalty to a whole different level. Determined to prove to people that a girl that comes from rich parents isn't a snobby brat, she's willing to either take a bullet or lay down her life for another. As strange as this sounds to some people, Roxanne believes in this with a passion that could almost mark her as a fire student.
Two, she's very spunky - in that passive way, of course. Though Roxie won't go out of her way to show her spunk, brains, or endurance. If called to the challenge, she will rise to answer. Roxanne was never one to back down from a challenge, and was raised that way. Having been raised around paparazzi, she isn't afraid of attention, but doesn't crave it either. Since she's spent a lot of her life in the splotlight, Roxanne prefers staying in the background where she won't be as noticed as easily. But, as mentioned, Roxie here won't back down if someone challenges her in any way, shape, or form.
Three, because she is a human being, Roxanne has faults and fears that help define her. First off, she fears that the paparazzi and media surrounding her father will eventually kill him. Her father is already a fragile man, unsure of himself because of his wife leaving him a few years before. Media adds stress to his already busy life, and Roxie is frightened that something might happen to him if something isn't done. Secondly, she's quite a stubborn human being who, when hearing rumors or gets angry, doesn't budge from her position or listen to others unless she is factually proven wrong. Thirdly, and lastly, she's exceedingly protective over her friends and family - mainly because of the paparazzi and her history with them. Her fears make her irrational in some ways, and this may or may not deter others from being her friend. However, anyone looking to being Roxie's friend needs to know that she's a very caring human being who cares about her friends and family and makes a great mage when called for.
Ability: Shapeshifting (Cheetah) - Transforms into a cheetah when called for. {OOC: I saw there were two other shape-shifters, and one of them was a large cat. Cheetah isn't the same as a lion, thank goodness, but do I still need to contact the roleplayer for permission for something similiar?}
History: Now, contrary to popular belief, Roxanne wasn't born in England or in Scotland or even in Ireland. She's actually a full-bred American who happened to come to England when she was a very young girl.
Roxie was born to Theodore and Lillith Locke. Theodore was a multi-millionaire young man who ran a rather large software company that happened to work with Hollywood. He inherited it from his father and was very dedicated to it. And, of course, since he had a spotless record and was the perfect image of a good man... the media developed an obsession with dissecting every bit of his life to try and find something dirty about him. Of course, when Theodore and Lillith fell in love and got married, the media had a field day. And no less than three months later when Lillith announced she was pregnant, they went absolutely insane.
Roxanne was born, of course, several months after that and into the crazy world of stardom before she even reached the age of six months. The media and paparazzi was watching their every move, even sneaking onto Theodore's private property to catch glimpses and pictures of the happy little family. Eventually, Lillith couldn't take it anymore and ran out on Theodore and Roxie.
When Roxanne was four, Theodore simply couldn't take the media anymore either. He turned the company over to his managing CEO, and fled the country with his young daughter to escape the press. It worked... partly. The English media is much different from the American media, but still there all the same. When word reached America where the old Theodore Locke had gotten to, they began filtering over to England to see what he was up to with his young daughter. They've been doing this for twelve years now, and Roxanne has actually found a part-time home at ADGMP. Though her father, a Muggle, has absolutely no idea what she does at school, he does know that he loves his daughter very much and cares about what happens to her.
But because of all of the paparazzi, he fears he will lose her. Roxie has been trying to show him for years that nothing will ever take her away from him... but what can prove it? What can take away his insecurities?
Other: Roxanne is a Muggle-born - both parents didn't have magic. Her mother, Lillith, hasn't been heard from since the day she took off.
