A day off [Alex Brent]

Being your own boss had many good things.One was about the days off.You could choose just any day.And that was just what Jinx had done.Taken her day off.She just decided to do so for no special reason.

Now she was seating at a radom bench in a park doing nothing at all.She was relaxing,a very good thing.Probably that was the reason she had decided to take her day off.Even though realxed Jinx was aware of the looks she was getting, and she knew fully well why.

Jinx had decided to wear a black backless dress that wen until near her knees with black shoes today.It let her back, shoulders, arms and legs appearing.Showing most of her tatoos.The biggest ones were in her back,some come to her shoulders and arms and there were a few on her legs.Not all of them were enchanted but most were and not all had been done by her,some she had just enchanted.There were some that moved and others for protection,energy busting and etc.She loved them all,but was pretty aware that some people found it strange and the looks were confirming this.Not all of them were bad looks,some were just curoius glances from people that had never seen someone with so many tatoos but the best were those of the kids.They were sincere and she could see in their eyes,they were curious and found it to be funny and amazing at the same time, watching the snake twirling around her leg and the dragon moving around her spine,the kids had no prejudice that was what made them so good to talk to.

Jinx decided not to care about the glares anymore, so she just relaxed back on her bench, waiting for something to happen.What she didn't knew,but something within her told her that something was going to happen.She just had to wait.Maybe,who knwos that feeling could be right?By now she would just relax.

Alex had just meant to go out for a walk. He just wanted to be alone with his thoughts but as usual he was stopped from doing this by spotting Jinx. He hadn't talked to her in awhile and wanted to see, well sense, how she had been. Walking over to her his eyes were drawn to her many tattoos. They were so finely crafted he believed her when she refereed to them as true art. Sitting next to her he greeted his old friend "Hi. How've you been?". He still asked that question even though everyone knew he had the power to sense how people were feeling and when they lied. Well it wasn't 100% but close enough.

"I've been busy at work so haven't had much time for anyone recently." Alex admitted to her. He was very busy and had a stressful job and so unwinding every now and again was definitely on the agenda.

He wondered how Jinx had been coping. She did run her own business so maybe that was better. Then again it meant more work was on her. "Hows business?" He asked curiously.

Jinx had been relaxing truthfully,with her eyes closed, just as she felt a weigh beside her on the bench and heard a familiar voice.

"Hi. How've you been?"

Alex! She thought happilly to herself.It had been such along time since she had last seen him.She actually missed him,even though she had just made a new friend.
Jinx knew his question was almost meaningless for he could feel things.It remebered her of the ability of a certain professor whom she,just a few days ago,remembered she had classes with.Someone she really didn't want to remeber.

"Shouldn't you be able to know this?" She said with a smile. "Well,as good as someone can be without letting boredom take over their lives.What about you?" She said truthfully.

"I've been busy at work so haven't had much time for anyone recently."

"I understand that perfectally." She said patting him on the back.Sometimes work could be a real pain.

"Hows business?"

"Pretty busy,adn I'm quite happy with it.Seems I'm doing good.Just some people that still have closed minds trying to piss me off,but nothing all that big." She said resting her back on the bench again.
