The Ministry has since stripped the - considered - "abnormal" part of society of their rights; wands snapped, jobs taken, and houses reclaimed. The Vampires and Werewolves have resented these acts of "equalizing" - quoted from the Ministry of Magic - the Wizarding World, and have seemingly "disappeared" from London.

It was not long before the Minister himself had considered the Wizarding World "safe" once again... until, that is, a crime elevated to ransom, and an important member of the Ministry had also gone without a trace. Days later, a number of society's most respected and important figures had disappeared, and the press - as well as Ministry - remain oblivious to their whereabouts.

What had been once one of the most magical places on earth, had become a haven of terror, and is now considered a threat to the rest of the Wizarding World in itself. No one is safe.
