Adrian held back a smirk as Elena displayed her dramatics. "Where am I burned?" Adrian asked a bit irritated, as if it wasn't obvious that his whole body had basically been singed. He lifted up his arm and grabbed onto the attire he was wearing. With a slight tug the rest of the burned and torn garments were ripped from his body leaving him bare other than the white silk pants he wore underneath. "That's where I've been burned," he said with a bit of an unforgiving voice as he motioned in a circular pattern that basically covered all of his body.
His muscles were far more defined that one might of imagined, seeing as he was fairly slim. There were a couple of visible scars scattered around his body from previous battles before but as for the most part there were countless burn marks inflicted. The most gruesome one was the one on his thigh which hit was inflicted so hard that it left blood stains all the way down the side of his silk pants. It still seemed to be bleeding but was for the most part dry by now.

There might have been a small "meep" sound from over in the direction of Elena's bed when Adrian essentially ripped his clothes off, but she would deny any knowledge of it even upon her deathbed. Elena was planning on becoming utterly fascinated by the process of watching her skin knit itself together, but then she noticed the severity of Adrian's burns and ended up staring a little bit anyway and getting a bit of scolding in, herself, while the mediwitch motioned for Adrian to sit down on the next bed over. "Why didn't you tell me you were hurt that badly?" Elena asked a bit sharply. "We shouldn't have been dilly-dallying in the Head's office. And I could have walked faster." "Probably," she added silently.
The mediwitch bent over slightly to set about working on the worst of Adrian's wounds, holding her wand over it and muttering incantations under her breath. His wound cleansed itself as well, and then began knitting itself together like Elena's had. The mediwitch repeated this process on several of his other bad-looking wounds, then bustled off to fetch them both tonics to speed the healing process.

Adrian looked over at Elena. He was a bit surprised to see Elena looking so concerned and a bit angry that he kept his wounds secret. He shook his head not sure of how to respond, "I just figured it wasn't worth mentioning at the time. Our main worry was to warn the Ministry. After that, I was caught up in talking to my old colleague, Morgana." Adrian hesitated before continuing. He didn't understand why he was talking to Elena like he was the student and she was the teacher. Almost like she was scolding a child for doing something he shouldn't have. "You shouldn't worry though, I'm a big kid now," he said flashing a smile in hopes of lightening her up.

"I'm sure she would have understood the need to cut things short if she'd been aware of how injured you were," Elena said a bit stiffly, then cringed when she realized how much like her mother she sounded. "Sorry. Guess the headache's making me testy," she apologized, smiling back sheepishly.
The mediwitch returned promptly with a tray of tonics - one for Adrian, and two for Elena. She instructed them to drink it down - "All of it." - then vanished again. Elena sighed, then methodically tossed back each tonic, first the one for her headache and then the one to speed her healing. She pulled a face as she set down the second glass, but otherwise didn't complain. It was pretty much just like doing shots. She then lay back in the bed, closing her eyes for a moment, letting her exhaustion pull her down for just a little bit. When the mediwitch returned again, it was with a jar of ointment for Adrian, which she began dabbing on his burns. "If you apply this once a day for the next two days, it will prevent infection and there should be no scarring. Except perhaps on the burn in your thigh - that may leave some slight discoloration. Best to put the ointment on that twice a day."

Adrian drank the tonic and then set down the empty glass, "I suppose I can't blame you for being testy. Things didn't exactly turn out the way I expected them to." Adrian nodded as the mediwitch gave him instructions on how many times to apply the ointment.
"I'm not too worried about scars," Adrian replied as he looked down at his right hand, which was covered with the black glove. A memory flashed in his mind as he thought of the severe burns beneath the glove. He closed his eyes and forced out the thoughts. This is definitely not the time to dwell on the past.

The tonic was starting to take the edge off of Elena's headache when the mediwitch came over, touched two fingers to Elena's forehead, and made a tsking sound. "It was very irresponsible of you to overextend yourself so. You could have blacked out and been left defenseless."
Elena kept her eyes close and said lazily, "Good thing I didn't, then." The mediwitch pursed her lips, and brusquely wrapped Elena's lower arm in a bandage after dabbing a different salve on her cut, which had a thin film of new, pink skin covering it.
When the mediwitch left again, Elena opened her eyes, looked down at the bandage, and said, "Well that's just going to make Felix think it's worse than it is. He'll probably yell. I need to get more catnip."
